What kind of sessions do you offer?
I offer portrait photography including headshots, family and senior portraits, engagements, elopements, maternity, and newborn. I do not offer artificial lighting and prefer to utilize the sun at prime points in the day.

Where are sessions held?
I offer in-your-home photography with my portable studio, and am available for your choice of site.
Mini sessions are offered at pre-determined locations in the GTA and near Square One,
What do I get after a session?
I offer a fully digital photo gallery of all pictures taken with watermarks, and allow you to choose the # of edits as per your package. The edits will then be provided within 5 days of your choice. I will recommend my favourites as well!
Prints are available through Pixieset at an additional cost.
Clients also have the rights to use their purchased edits to do the following: print any photos, photo books, or photo items (magnets, postcards, mugs, etc) at their vendor of choice. Feel free to ask me for recommendations.
What should I expect from a session?
As a nurse, I pride myself in connecting with families. As a mom of three, I love connecting with children of all ages.
You can expect direction when needed to ensure high quality photos, but otherwise will capture the candid moments between your family as they spontaneously happen. For the kids, a bribe or two won't hurt sometimes!
When should I book maternity or newborn photos?
Maternity photos to capture your bump are best taken between 28-35 weeks (or earlier with twins/multiples), but anytime you are comfortable is also perfectly fine! Get in touch with me to book early to secure your session.
Newborn photos are best taken in the first 2 weeks of life to ensure baby is still in the sleepy stage.

When will I receive the photos after a session?
You will receive your digital gallery of photos with watermarks via Pixieset within 48 hours after a session. You can choose pictures for final edits and those will be sent back within 5 days of choosing, without watermarks and will include standard retouching (so don't worry if a zit appears the morning of, I will take care of it!). Any additional edits can be requested for an additional fee of $10 and will be completed and uploaded within 5 days of the request. Glient galleries are deleted after 21 days. All edit requests must be made within 16 days of gallery's initial upload date.
Should I bring anything to the session?
You should absolutely bring a good attitude and lots of smiles!
I also encourage participants to bring personal items that they would want to bring meaning to photos. Perhaps it's a favorite teddy bear, grandma’s hand knitted blanket, or even your wedding dress as a backdrop for a newborn photo session, we will find a way to incorporate it into the photos to make them even more sentimental to you.
What should I wear? Can I change outfits?
You should wear something that you and your family feel good and comfortable in. It doesn’t have to match with other participants, but it should coordinate and compliment each other. Light coloured, non-reflective clothing works best, without loud patterns or logos, depending on the vibe you're going for. A pinterest board may be available for ideas depending on the type of session.
You can change outfits as long as you remain within your booked timeframe and the location allows for it.
What do I need to prepare?
If you are having an in-home session, ensure a room is prepared with large windows and/or natural lighting, and tidied/styled to your preferences.

Do you have props?
I will supply all themed props for mini sessions. I also have a variety of simple props for newborn sessions including baskets, wraps, and props.
